ROUND ROCK, Texas — The City of Round Rock Blue Santa Program will begin accepting applications for assistance from those families in need this holiday season on Monday, November 9 at 9 a.m. Applications can be turned in through Friday, December 11 at 4 p.m.
Applications are available from the Round Rock Public Safety Training Center, 201 N. Mays Street, the building located next to the Round Rock Police Department.
Evening hours are offered on two evenings: Thursday, November 12 and also November 19, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The facility will be closed on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, and also over the Thanksgiving weekend, November 25 to 27.
Applicants must live in the city of Round Rock. Parents are asked to please provide a current report card for each school-aged child who attends Round Rock Independent School District schools.
Also needed from applicants are two forms of proof of home address: an identification card with a photo, and something such as a utility bill, current lease and/or telephone bill that shows the home address in Round Rock.
Applications are available online on the city’s website in both English and Spanish.
Note that gift deliveries will take place on Friday, December 18 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. A person who is age 18 or older must be at home to accept delivery. If no one is home during that time, gifts will be forfeited, according to information on the application.
