ROUND ROCK, Texas — The City of Round Rock Library staff have announced that starting this month, it will be the site of tax information sessions courtesy of Foundation Communities. Walk-ins will not be accepted, therefore, appointments to visit with advisors must be made.
The sessions will be held Saturdays only, beginning January 23 through April 10, from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The tax returns will not be completed at the session, but documents will be scanned, according to Foundation Communities. The staff will contact everyone when tax returns are ready, and schedule a follow-up appointment for signatures and pickup. Call 512-610-7374 for more information.
ASL interpretation will be available to those who need it at the Prosper South location in Austin at 2900 S. IH 35 starting January 30.
The Prosper Tax Help program income limits changed as of August 2020. They increase the annual income limit by $5,000 for each additional dependent for families of five or more.
The income limit is waived for staff and residents of Foundation Communities, and for current or retired military personnel.
