HUTTO, Texas — Save the date for Saturday, February 27, 2021, for the Hutto Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala, which will be held at the newly opened water park and resort in Round Rock. Kalahari Resorts and Convention Center opened in November and prides itself on being the “World’s Coolest Indoor Waterpark.” It is located at 3001 Kalahari Blvd.
The gala will feature a three-course meal, open bar, a professional photographer to take guests’ pictures, along with both live and silent auctions.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for the event, dubbed “Denim and Diamonds.” The levels range from “Friends of Gala” at $250 to $5,000 as a “Presenting Sponsor,” which includes a table for ten, a full-page ad in the event program, two bottles of wine, and more.

Kalahari Resort features a hotel with single rooms, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom suites, and access to the waterpark is included for all guests. The facility also hosts weddings. The Round Rock location is the fifth water park in four states owned by the company that has designed all of its locations with an African theme. Others are located in Pennsylvania, Ohio and two in Wisconsin. They each feature indoor and outdoor attractions, arcades, shopping, spas, and restaurants.
